City of Golden Sales Tax Relief
At last night’s City Council meeting (March 19), City Manager Jason Slowinski informed the businesses of Golden that the City will work with small businesses who might be having difficulty making their payment of sales tax to Golden during these challenging times.  Mr. Slowinski said that fees and fines would be waived, but that each business requesting this relief needs to contact the Finance Department to work out a payment plan.  Businesses requesting this assistance with their City Sales tax should email  [email protected] . Businesses should contact  the City Sales Tax department before the end of the month if possible. They will then work with your business about filing the returns, payment plans, waiver of penalty and interest, etc.
