Business Awards 2026

Nominations are now closed for the 2026 Golden Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards! We will be announcing the winners at our Annual Meeting and Awards Luncheon on April 16th, 2026!

These honor Chamber members for excellence in the following categories:

Community Impact of the Year Award:
Presented to a business, non-profit, or organization that creatively and effectively brought together community members, resources, or organizations to encourage an environment of support, respect, and thoughtfulness within the Golden community.

Volunteer of the Year Award:

In recognition of outstanding volunteer service within the greater Golden area. This volunteer best demonstrates the selfless and valuable contribution that volunteering makes to our community as a whole.

The Golden Standard Award:

Presented to an organization or business that actively demonstrates support for diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace or in the City of Golden. The awardee contributes to and enhances our business environment through consistent and sustained efforts to improve opportunities for the diverse communities we serve.

Budding Business of the Year Award:

This is awarded to a business who has been in operation 5 years or less. The Budding Business of the Year award recognizes the difficulties that come with starting a business and is awarded to a relatively new business that has demonstrated the creativity, energy, perseverance, and talent needed to sustain a successful business and has provided a positive impact on the local community.

Business of the Year Award:

This award is presented to a business that has thrived, enhanced the lives of its employees, and shown exceptional support to the economic vitality of the Golden Community.
