Golden Chamber

A Message from the Golden Chamber of Commerce

Dear Business and Community Members,

What a week it has been. Information is changing daily, life is changing daily, and our businesses are changing daily too. It can feel very stressful and scary.

But what I’ve also seen this week is a community that has come together like never before. I’ve witnessed collaboration; I’ve witnessed creativity and problem-solving; I’ve witnessed giving and helping in ways no one could have imagined a week ago. It is a reminder of just how strong of a community Golden is.

During this time, the Golden Chamber is working closely with our City, our County, and with all other Jefferson County Chambers to stay up-to-date on information that our businesses need to know. We are working diligently behind-the-scenes to provide the resources and information your business needs for success and to find ways to continue to promote your business in new ways.

Working in collaboration with the City of Golden and VisitGolden, we were able to launch a TakeOut TakeOver Golden campaign to support our restaurants.

We are in the process of working on ways to come together and support our business service providers and our retailers in a similar way – stay tuned!  Additionally, we are working hard to provide useful, relevant, and timely information to our members and are updating our website to ensure that information is easily available.

As for our day to day operations, the Chamber is open but we are working very limited hours at our office to keep our team healthy. Please make sure that you call ahead if you need to see or speak with the Chamber.

Per the recommendations to keep our community as safe as possible, we have cancelled all networking events for the remainder of the month and first part of April. We hope to embrace this time of “Creative Commerce” to provide virtual networking and educational opportunities soon. We have also paused Taste of Golden. We hope to bring this event back to our community at another time.

What we want our business community to know most is that we are here for you. As a community, we are all trying to figure this out as best we can on a daily basis. If you have an idea to share or a question on available resources, please reach out to us.

Sincerely,
Nola Krajewski | Executive Director
