Stress Management

December–an interesting time to be thinking of stress management!   December may be the most stressful time of the year for most persons, but we can be thinking of how to reduce stress in the coming year–maybe a New Year’s Resolution.
1.   Think ahead of projects and events that will require extra planning and coordination–get a head start.    If you need to place orders for items you will need for an event or for your business, allow lots of leeway for contingencies.
2.    Do it now!    Don’t procrastinate.
3.    Prioritize–tackle the most important and urgent projects first.
4.    Make a list; make several lists!    Keep a list of all projects in your priority list and check off as progress is made; keep a list each day of tasks to be completed that day.
5.    Keep your day timer or electronic calendar updated methodically.
